Visit of Alex and Zoe

In the late summer of 2020 our friend and artist colleague Alex Cio and his charming assistant Pie Zoe were guests in our screen printing workshop in Maintal – after an extensive coffee and cake feast this small, fine documentation about our work process was created. We just had the new pattern with the currants fresh on the table, and for us it was very pleasing that we didn’t have to film everything ourselves…

We got to know Alex during our “artist in residency” stay at the Lindley Lindenberg Hotel in the Ostend of Frankfurt – he crochets the longest blanket in the world, is an environmental activist, always carries his camera around with him, spends even more time behind the computer than we do and prefers to spend his nights maintaining his YouTube channel. Update October 2020:
In the meantime there is also the “Directors Cut” – Alex has edited a nearly twenty-minute documentary which shows the other printing stations (posters, t-shirts) in our workshop. Nicely told, professionally filmed/cut and for us a lasting memory of a great day – thank you very much!
